2011 PA Home Show Special



Through this weekend you can see two Igneous Rock Gallery fountains on display at the PA Home Show’s Show Case Home.

This one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68bkE4O7ysI&NR=1 will be auctioned with the Show Case Home on Sunday, March 13 at 2:00 pm. It is mounted in a concrete bowl over a concrete pedestal and an in ground basin. This fountain retails for $3,500. Proceeds will benefit the Student Chapter of the National Home Builders Association in the form of scholarships and tool grants.

It is regularly $7,500, but we are coming out of a sluggish winter and eager to jump start the season. This fountain is best seen up close. The composition and design hold interest as art and sculpture, and this is one of my favorite groupings so far.

When my friend and former design collaborator John Lauver visited the shop he gave this fountain a name:

“The Intervention.”

Quite obviously the single column standing front and center all by himself is being lovingly confronted by ten of the rocks in his life who care about him the most. Things will have to change starting now, so take stock and take heed!

Of course if you buy this grouping you can name it whatever you want.
