Sedimentary Rock Gallery?


A referral from Dr. William Beutler (see One Thing Leads to the Next blog entry) resulted in the opportunity for me to serve as general contractor on a nice winter project. What started out as a serious slump in the macadam on a residential driveway resulted in a grand welcome to an even grander home.

You can’t see the house from the road, but sixty feet of natural limestone walls flanking cobble style pavers suggests the type of home you will see beyond the knoll. Limestone is not igneous rock, but we are not ready to change our company name to Sedimentary Rock Gallery just yet!



It was a real blessing when these folks entrusted us with this project. They would have preferred to wait until spring, but deferred to our circumstances in allowing us to forge ahead in December. Finishing touches await better weather, but we were able to achieve substantial completion before the winter’s coldest temperatures arrived.
